Coolum FC’s own academy the Sunhine Coast Institute of Football (SCIF) runs an off-season academy. Terms: 12 October – 7 December 2011: 10 weeks.
and 24 January and 29 March 2012: 10 weeks. Enrollment started!
The ‘Switch on in Off-Season’ training system is an all-round player development
program running from October to March when previously there was a massive
break in football in Australia. Our program is designed and conducted by our UEFA ‘A’ license holder head coach Gabor Ganczer. The curriculum is focusing on practical technical skills, but always in the proper football environment (never separated, always against an opponent). However the main focus of the ‘Switch on’ program is to improve technique, our players get an all-round football education which comes from the essential team related approach of the World’s game. All players have to wear our SCIF uniform during the trainings.
When:
The ‘Switch on’ program gives 40 training sessions
(twice a week) for 20 weeks altogether, in two terms.
Next program starts in October 2011, ends in March.
SCIF Term 1 (Off-Season program) between 12 October and 7 December 2011: 10 weeks.
SCIF Term 2 (Pre-Season program) between 24 January and 29 March 2012: 10 weeks.
Price:
$300 / Term ($600 Term1 and Term2 together) + official SCIF Nike kit (jersey, shorts, socks) for $130. Payment plan and returning player discount available. We offer scholarships for our best players and we increase the number of scholarships every year. You can book trainings in lots of 10 trainings (for 10 consecutive training).
Training schedule:
U6-U10: Monday and Wednesday 4:00pm-5:15pm
U11-15: Monday and Wednesday 5:30pm-6:45pm
